Matcha Zuki : OneMatcha Zuki : One of the Quality Matcha brand from Japan. The name “Matcha Zuki” means “LOVE”. The prominent quality of Matcha is not only “no bitter taste” but also obtain a nice green color with natural aroma. We selected only the high-quality Tencha green tea from Uji, Kyoto region. The richly green leaves are baked at optimal temperature then finely ground in a stone mortar to make quality, dark green like jade matcha powder offering the most delicious, high nutrients that benefitted your loved ones. It’s perfect for making all kind of food creations which could enhance its specialty of quality Matcha that delight green tea connoisseur. With our pride in delivering the best quality product that impressed all customers.
Brand identity & Packaging design
design concept
Starting with a deep understanding of the production process in order to find out the standpoint of the brand. The net takeaway was that “Matcha Zuki” is the brand originated from Japan, planted and produced in Japan with meticulous care on all production stages namely from the first hand-picked tea leaves and put on sun-dried and lastly grounded into powder via the traditional stone mortar process. We found that this process drives the cycle then we translated it into the form of “circle plus adding with the element of the Japanese Tea ceremony”.
Logo design portrays the craft of tea making by using a stone mill as an icon and a traditional touch from the chosen typeface.
We translated the tea-making process into the form of a circle and create the main visual for the packaging design. The chosen color represent the shades of each Matcha product. The primary colors are 3 shade of green, an additional gold color for the added value of high-quality products.
